Scott Patterson, Pulpit Minister

Scott has preached for the Central Church of Christ in Augusta, GA since 2005. He is a graduate of Faulkner University in Montgomery, AL (B.A. in Bible) and has a Master’s degree in Counseling & Psychology from Troy University. Scott is also a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in Georgia.
Scott enjoys all things sci-fi, a well-made bow tie, and cheesecake, which he considers to be a gift from God.
 

Samuel Welsh, Youth & Family Minister

Samuel Welsh is the new Youth Minister at Central Church of Christ in Augusta, Ga. He recently got married to his beautiful wife, Brooke Welsh and they are very excited about their new beginning in Augusta. Sam is 21 years old and will be graduating from Faulkner University with a Youth and Family Ministry degree in December of ’17. He grew up in Northwest Georgia attending the Rossville Church of Christ, where he gained the desire to become a minister of the Gospel. He was raised by Sherry Welsh and Skip Welsh and grew up with his older sister Sarah. Sam is an avid outdoorsman who loves to hunt and fish in his spare time. He also loves sports and cries “War Eagle” in the fall but supports Atlanta in every professional sport. Like his fellow ministers, Sam also loves coffee. He and Brooke are very excited to be in Augusta and can’t wait to see what doors God opens up for them, and what relationships He puts in their lives through their wonderful new church family at Central.
 

 

Jeremy Hinote, Involvement Minister

Jeremy has been a Minister at Central since 2002. He was the Youth and Family Minister from 2002-2017. He now serves as the Involvement Minister at Central. He graduated from Faulkner University with a B.A. in Bible and Troy University with an M.S. in Counseling & Psychology. Jeremy also is an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in Georgia.
 
Jeremy serves on the Board of Directors of Exposure Youth Camp and Palmetto Bible Camp. He is married to Lauren LaMunyon Hinote and they have two children, Mason and Mackenzie. Jeremy loves the outdoors, sports, coffee, and rooting for his Florida State Seminoles.
